Freeman "Bob" Johnson

Biography:  Freeman "Bob" Johnson, 71 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.  Bob was born Nov. 15, 1946 to the late Freeman and Flo (Stewart) Johnson. 
 

Bob is survived by his loving wife Bonnie (Woods) Johnson; brother Terry (Mary) Johnson of Ohio City, OH; sisters Charline Shaw of Galion, Sue Frazier of Lakeland FL., Nan Forton of Loveland, OH; his pet dog "Daisy", as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Bob served  in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.  He retired from ESCO Bucyrus Blades in 2015. Bob never knew a stranger, he loved reading and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie France officiating, burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Salvation Army and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
