Biography: Florence Mable (James) Savage 89, formerly of 946 East Mansfield Street, Bucyrus and most recently of the Gardens of Western Reserve in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 in her home. She was born on March 7, 1924 in East Liberty, Ohio to the late Roy and Mabel Gertrude (Austin) James. On September 9, 1946 she married Victor Paul Savage who preceded her in death on December 6, 1996.
Florence is survived by her son, Charles Savage of Akron, Ohio; her granddaughter, Kathleen Marie (Michael) Wohlford of Wabash, Indiana; her great grandson Kyle Michele Wohlford of Wabash, Indiana; and her sister, Glada Stuckert of Bucyrus, Ohio; she is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald of Iberia, Gerald of Marion, Fay of Florida, Bernard and Leland of Marysville; her sisters, Mildred Ervin of Bucyrus, and Pauline Davidson of Crestline; Her half-sister, Mrs. Lenore (Carl) Bice of Florida.
Florence was a 1946 graduate of Bucyrus High School and was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bucyrus. Florence loved her family and her family was her life.
The family will hold graveside services on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery with Father John Miller as Celebrant.
