Florence (Flo) H. Kalb

Biography:  Florence (Flo) H. Kalb, age 91, of Bucyrus, Ohio and formerly from New Washington, Ohio passed away February 2, 2016 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Florence was born August 19, 1924 to the late Peter and Dora (Studer) Nedolast. Flo was married to Melvin S. Kalb on November 3, 1943. Melvin preceded her in death on December 29, 2004 after 61 years of marriage. Flo was also preceded in death by 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
Flo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, bowling, and was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Flo is survived by son Michael Kalb and wife Susan of Bucyrus, OH; daughter Jane Holtschulte and husband Jeff of Richwood, OH; daughter Mary Feaver of Marion, OH; son Steven Kalb and wife Joyce of Stow, OH; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Flo’s family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, from 6-8 pm with a rosary service at 7:45 pm at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home in Bucyrus, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, at 10:30 am at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father John Miller as Celebrant. Flo’s wishes were to be cremated after the funeral service with a private burial at a later date.
