Biography: Faythe E. Failor, 100, of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Altercare of Bucyrus. She was born Nov. 4, 1912 in Wyandot Co. to the late Clarence B. and Tessa M. (Haas) Shroll. Faythe was married Aug. 14, 1937 to Paul D. Failor who preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1999. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister Mildred Berkley.
Faythe is survived by son David N. (Shirley) Failor of Columbus; granddaughters Cindi (Glenn) Welsh, Nevada and Cathy (Tim) Miller of Tiro; great grandchildren Christy, Misty, David, Kimberley, Joshua, Dustin, Kerri, Michelle, and Bonnie; as well as numerous great great grandchildren.
Faythe retired in 1974 after working for 21 years as a telephone operator and dispatcher. She was a graduate of Nevada High School in 1930, was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church, the Pythian Sisters of Nevada, and the North Side Reading Circle.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Hasenauer officiating, burial will follow in Nevada Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. The family suggests memorials be made to Good Hope Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
