Evelyn Delores Hite

Biography:  Evelyn Delores Hite, 95, of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday evening at home following a brief illness.  Evelyn was born July 29, 1918 in Schuylere, Nebraska to the late Frank and Louise (Lorenzen) Heun.  She was married Feb. 5, 1943 to Wilbur “Bill” Carl Hite who preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1996.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by grandson Brian Castle; one infant brother Keith, brother Delmar “Bob”; and sister Elaine Heitz.
 
 
Evelyn is survived by children Robert (Judy) Hite of Edison; David (Terri) Hite of Bucyrus; Sue Ann Hite of Bucyrus; grandchildren Retha (David) Castle of Cardington, Shelley (Jaron) Kovacs, S. Carolina, Mandy (Scott) Davis of Greenville, OH; grandchildren Tyler Castle, Jonas and McKenna Kovacs, and Cash and Grady Davis.
 
Mrs. Hite was a homemaker and lived her entire married life in Bucyrus .
 
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Wilson officiating, burial will follow in Grand Praire Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-4 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church or the Bucyrus Nazarene Church through the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
