Biography: Eunice A. Long, 90 of New Washington passed away at 5:55 am Saturday July 13, 2013 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky. Eunice was born July 16, 1922 in New Washington to the late Arnold and Freda (Kessler) Siefert. She was married December 5, 1943 to Luther W. Long who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1994. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother Donald Siefert and son in law John Mullins.
Eunice is survived by daughters Carol Mullins of Columbus; Janet (William) Nolan of Boca Raton, FL; and Marilyn Long of New Washington; grandsons James Nolan of Boca Raton and Jonathan (Nicole) Nolan of Orlando; great grandchildren Aleisha, Gabriella, Christian, and Jordan; one sister Marcene Miller of Palm Bay, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Eunice lived her entire life in the New Washington area and graduated from New Washington High School. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with farming. Eunice was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sulphur Springs.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Hans Scherner officiating and burial to follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, New Washington.
