Biography: Elnora June (Watts) Williams of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday evening at Altercare of Bucyrus; she was 92 years of age. Elnora was born April 15, 1921 in Bridgeville, PA to the late Edward and Marie (Kirschner) Watts. She was the youngest daughter of seven children. Her father and brothers built furnaces for making glass in various cities in PA and OH for the General Electric Company. This was how she eventually came to live in Bucyrus. Elnora graduated in 1940 from Niles H.S. in Niles, OH.
In 1942 she was working at the Bucyrus General Electric Glass Plant where she met the love of her life, Clinton L. Williams. They were married on Nov. 10, 1944. Clinton passed away Oct. 7, 2011. They had one daughter, Dianne L. (Williams) Studer who passed away on Feb. 20, 1991. She was also preceded in death by brothers Edward (Emma) Watts of Bridgeville, PA; Norman (Mildred) Watts, Logan, OH; Richard (Dorothy) Watts, Garden Grove, CA; James (Nancy) Watts of Logan, OH; and sisters Anna (Charles) Fishburn of Rhode Island and Edna (Leo) Bradley of Bridgeville, PA.
Survivors include: son in law Urban H. Studer and wife Gale; granddaughter Holly L. Studer and her son Chandler all of Bucyrus; grandson (Urban) Jay (Jenny) Studer and son (Urban) Blake Studer and their daughter Kelsey Dianne Studer of Dayton. In addition she is survived by several nieces and nephews in and around the Bucyrus area.
Elnora worked for a short time at the Timken Company and most of her life was a Homemaker. She enjoyed pampering her husband and daughter as well as her grandchildren. Elnora loved mowing and working in her yard. She helped her husband with Show Dogs for many years. A love for animals, she enjoyed watching birds and deer from her patio door, watching old movies and sit-coms on her VCR as well as Figure Skating and “Dancing with the Stars” on Television.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral home with Deacon Jerry Gubernath officiating, burial will follow in Marion Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
