Ellen Whited

Ellen Whited, 90 of Bucyrus went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 13, 2024 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Ellen was born October 13, 1933 in Richlands, VA to the late Earl and Oney (Pinion) Rose.  She was married August 23, 1951 to Hubert Whited who preceded her in death on November 25, 2011.  She was also preceded in death by brother Buster Rose and brother in law Ron Musick.

Ellen is survived by son and daughter in law Michael and Lisa Whited of Bucyrus; grandchildren Elaine (Erik Vaughn) Whited, Becky (Bryan) Scheidler, and Cody Scott; great grandchildren Kristen, Kaitlin, Kaden, and Keagan; sister Doris Musick; niece Rhonda (Keith) Rowland; nephews Earl (Debbie) Musick and Rob (Annette) Musick; special friend Della Brandt; as well as great nieces and nephews.

Ellen moved to Bucyrus in 1951 and worked at the former K-Mart and then for Dr. Scott.  She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, canning, doing word puzzles, and being with her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rob Musick officiating and burial to follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Butterfly Foundation and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
