Elisha Rose Thoroughman

Biography: Elisha Rose Thoroughman, 58 of Mansfield passed away on Thursday September 24, 2020 at Avita in Mansfield.  Elisha was born May 24, 1962 in Vanceburg, KY to the late Elijah and Jewell (Thoroughman) Gilliam.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Leon Thoroughman on June 4, 2014. 

Elisha is survived by son Leon (Kara) Thoroughman of Mansfield; grandson Mason; brothers Terry Gilliam of Bucyrus and Elijah Gilliam of Crestline; sisters Marilyn Witten of Flemingsburg, KY, Geraldine Miller of Crestline, and Karen Dressback of Degraff, OH.

Elisha was a homemaker and had been a nurses aide for 20 years.  She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1981.  Elisha enjoyed being with family for get togethers and cookouts as well as being a grandma.  She also enjoyed puzzles, going to the Casino, and Elvis Presley.

The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 in the Dickerson Funeral Home, Vanceburg, KY with burial to follow in Mt.
