Biography: Eileen E. Lust, 99 of rural Bucyrus passed away on Friday March 11, 2022 following a brief illness. Eileen was born October 1, 1922 in Bucyrus to the late Walter and Nina (Walimire) Klink. She was married November 1, 1942 to Richard Lust who preceded her in death on May 30, 1998. She was also preceded in death by granddaughter Krista and brother and sister in law Richard and Betty Klink.
Eileen is survived by sons Ronald (Gloria) Lust of Crestline and James (Donna) Lust of Bucyrus; daughter Jennifer (Tim) Gingery of Bucyrus; grandchildren Greg Lust, Shelia Horton, Stacey Shelton, Brian Gingery, Rachelle Howell, and Jeremy Eichhorn; and 12 great grandchildren; and sister in law Mary Ellen Lust of Bucyrus.
Eileen graduated from Holmes Liberty H.S. in 1940 and worked at various places in Bucyrus that included General Electric, Soil and Conservation, the Moore Store, the Stock Barn, Arlie Glen Inn, and she sold Avon. Eileen was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and for several years was the church treasurer. She was a member of the Farm Bureau, volunteered at the Election Board, and enjoyed playing cards and square-dancing years ago.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brokensword Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Martin Luther Lutheran Church or the Local Salvation Army.
