Edwin A. Miller

Biography:  Edwin A. Miller, 72, of rural Bucyrus passed away on Sunday Nov. 2, 2014 at Bucyrus Community Hospital, his death was very unexpected.  Edwin was born June 30, 1942 in Sycamore to the late Lloyd and Irene (Heistand) Miller.  He was married August 2, 1963 to Shirley (Bonnell) Miller who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Judith Arlene.
 
Edwin is also survived by children Gregg Miller of Bucyrus and Joe (Heather) Miller of Nevada; grandchildren Alydia, Isabella, Morgan, Kelsey, Brydan, Emma, and Kaitlyn; and sister Violet Stockmaster of Sycamore.
 
Edwin worked at Swan Rubber for nearly 50 years and retired 6 years ago.  He graduated from Holmes Liberty School in 1960 and lived his entire life in the area.  Ed enjoyed going to the campground and playing Corn Hole and Horseshoes, playing Bingo, and smoking his pipe.  For several years Ed participated in Drag Racing and did lawnmower repair work.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Kidney Foundation or the donors choice through the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
