Eddie A. Cooley

Biography: Eddie A. Cooley, age 60, passed away at Grant Hospital of Columbus September 7, 2018. Eddie was born to the late Thedore and Ethel (Stander) Cooley July 16, 1958 in Lewis County Kentucky. Eddie is preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mildred Ann Cooley, Barbara Sue Cooley, and Trisha Lynn Cooley; brothers, Robert Cooley and James Cooley.
 

Eddie is survived by children, Mindy Wells, Sam Singer, and Wesley Cooley; step-children, Josh Singer, Lance Singer, and Sy Singer; grandchildren, Aleigha Armbruster, Lindsy Singer, Olivia Singer, Kyiah Cooley, Sonny Singer, Sophia Singer, Solomon Singer, Tre Wells, Marley Eidson, Grace Cooley, Savannah Singer, and Leif Singer; brother, George (Sherrie Williamson) Cooley; sisters, Betty (Mike) Lagace, Donna (Shawn) Fultz, Carolyn (Rob) Heddelton, Devvie (Bruce Hoeflich) Barker, Jennifer (Donnie) Stevenson as well as many nieces and nephews.

Eddie was a motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed riding them in his younger years. He worked as a Tree Trimming Foreman at Oberlanders for a number of years which landed him the nickname “Tree Killer.” Eddie loved spending time with family and grand kids and to family his other nickname was “Eddie Bunz.” He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and loved playing guitar.
