Dorothy May

Biography:  Dorothy May, 76, most recently of Bucyrus, passed away on Thursday March 13, 2014 in Bucyrus.  Dorothy was born Dec. 6, 1937 in Welch, WV to the late William and Mae (Hager) Jones. She was married in Oct. 1955 to Juniour  May who preceded her in death on July 27, 2005.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Edward Dean May, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Dorothy is survived by daughter Debra May of Delaware and son Randal (Amy) May of Bucyrus; grandchildren Edward Jr., Sheena, Ashley, Tonya, Brittany, Sasha, Jessica, Jayetta, and McKaylee; great grandchildren Blaze, Kylee, Tristan, Katlin, Kimberly, Kadence, Aubrey, and Silas; brother Howard Jones and sisters Lodema Lester, Patricia Miliam all of Princeton, WV, and sister Imogene Blankenship of Big Sandy WV.
Dorothy worked at Heartland for 13 years and was a homemaker.  She lived many years in this area as well as West Virginia and N. Carolina.  She had been a member of the Freewill Baptist Church since 1962.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Freewill Baptist Church, Bucyrus with burial to follow in Oceola Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 until the time of service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
