Dorothy Marie Bednarz

Biography:  Dorothy Marie Bednarz, 96, of Bucyrus passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at The Inn at Orchard Park.  Dorothy was born Jan. 28, 1919 in Canton, OH to the late Eldon and Erma (Myers) Houtz.  She was married Dec. 24, 1941 to Victor H. Bednarz who preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1988.  She was also preceded in death by 8 siblings.
 
Dorothy is survived by sons, Colonel (Ret) Michael H (Gail) Bednarz of Morehead City, N.C. and Mark E. (Noni) Bednarz of Jacksonville, FL; two grandsons Kenneth (Mandy) Bednarz of Austin, TX and Brian Bednarz of Mansfield; as well as one sister Eileen Zimmerman of Vero Beach, FL.
 
Dorothy worked at the Crawford Co. Auditors office for many years and was a member of Bucyrus Methodist Church.
