Biography: Dorothy Mae Edmonds (Christian Woman), 61 of Bucyrus went to be with the Lord Sunday September 27, 2020 at Galion Avita Hospital from health complications Dorothy lived her life through God's will and her footsteps touched many hearts she encountered throughout life. She was born June 15, 1959 to Ronald Thoman and the late Nellie Vance. She was married June 19, 1995 to James O. Edmonds who preceded her in death on September 7, 2012. In addition to her husband and mother she was preceded in death by her step father Bill Clark.
Dorothy had one child Tony Murray Edmonds and issurvived by 11 siblings; Robbie Critz, Donna Noggle, Ralph Thoman, Sandra McGuire, Louise Ladd, Jack Thoman, Harry Thoman, Helen Reese, Paulette Schumacher, Luanna Thoman and Bobbie Thoman. Dorothy is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sister in law and brother in law.
Dorothy graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1978. Dorothy worked in various public places; Bucyrus High School, Brown Derby, cleaning banks and Stout's Laundromat where she retired from. Dorothy loved cooking and doing crafts for family and friends. She loved passing out candy for Halloween to the kids. Dorothy enjoyed watching The Little House On The Prairie and going to the Pelican, Bob Evans and Golden Corral.
Dorothy always talked about receiving hugs from nurses, friends Chuck, Dana ,Mrs. Beardsly and Dot. It wasn't often said that there wasn't a soul that didn't know Dorothy Thoman Edmonds. Family would like to thank the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, New Hope Community Church, Family, Friends and anyone who knew and touched Dorothy's life.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, October 10 at 12:30 PM at the New Hope Community Church in Bucyrus with Reverend Brad Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
