Donna J. Lauthers

Biography:  Donna J. Lauthers, 83 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus following a brief illness.  Donna was born November 26, 1934 in Sycamore to the late David and Laura Hazel (Ankney) Sutton. She was married August 15, 1954 to Donald E. Lauthers who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Randall Lauthers and granddaughter Kellee Shambaugh.

Donna is also survived by children Robert A. (Brenda) Lauthers and Rebecca (Ron) Miller both of Bucyrus; daughter in law Ruth Lauthers of Bucyrus; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and sister JoAnn Fahy of Georgia.

Donna lived most of her life in Bucyrus except for some years in Punta Gorda, FL.  She was a 1952 graduate of Bucyrus High School and continued to be active with her classmates.  Donna was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She had taught ceramics and bowled several years ago as well as being active in Mothers Clubs.
