Donald E. Mills

 Donald “Don” E. Mills, age 77, passed away at home January 23, 2025. Don was born August 29, 1947 to the late Donald Mills and Rachel (Erwin) Gilliland in Bucyrus Ohio. Don was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon Mills; son Craig Mills; and brother, Ronald Mills.

Don is survived by children, Greg (Loretta) Mills, Donya (Thad) Blubaugh, and Shannon (Tyson) Robinson; brother, Larry (Mickey) Mills; grandchildren, Amber Mills, Sierra (Michael) McLaughlin, Zachary Robinson, Corey Robinson, Madison Blubaugh (Kyle McMaster); great-granddaughter, Sophie McLaughlin, Oakleigh McLaughlin, Ryn Robinson, and Maisleigh Robinson.

Don was a graduate of Bucyrus High School class of ’65. Don worked for 35 years at Bucyrus Ice company as a plant manager and jack of all trades. He went on to retire from BPT after 14 years there. Don enjoyed Bowling in his younger years, and loved attending grandkids sporting events. He loved watching his sports teams, Cleveland sports Indians, Browns and Cavaliers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The kids fondly remember any time they were at his house, he would have one of games playing either on the radio or tv. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
