Donald M. Smith

Biography:  Donald M. Smith, 56 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday Jan. 8, 2015 at home following a 2 month illness.  Don was born Feb. 27, 1958 in Bucyrus to Audrey and Lucy (Pinion) Smith who survive in Bucyrus.  He was married Oct. 30, 1976 and has been married for 38 years to Sandra (Albert) Smith.
 
Donald is survived by daughter Terri (Troy) Benson of Larue, OH; son Jeremy (Tessa) Smith of Bucyrus; grandchildren Kendra Benson and Camden Smith; brothers Rick (Robin) Smith of Bucyrus and Tim Smith of Bucyrus; half sister Rhonda Faye of PA; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
 
Don worked at Teynor Mobile Home and owned and operated Sunshine Detail Shop in Bucyrus. He lived his entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1976.  Don enjoyed fishing, music and going to concerts, camping, NASCAR, and loved his dogs.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Brother Ed Mullins officiating, burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service and memorials may be made through the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be made at munzpirnstill.com
