Donald Hanlon

Biography:  Donald Hanlon, 77 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2013 at Heartland of Bucyrus.  Don was born June 3, 1936 to the late LeRoy and Fannie Hanlon.  He was married Sept. 8, 1963 to Marjorie E. (Solze) Hanlon who preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2010.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by son in law Bob Johnson, brothers Ronald and LeRoy, as well as one sister Marilyn “Sue” Harris.
Donald is survived by daughters Denise (Rick) Key, Florida and Robin (Donnie) Dunford, Bucyrus; grandchildren Justin and Trenton Dunford; sisters Margaret (Mary) Rollins, Lois Nye, Jean (John) Wallace, Joann (Don) Bishop, and Carol (Milford) Williams; one brother Kenneth Hanlon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Don retired from Kamatsu Dresser in Galion after working over 30 years. Following retirement he worked at Walmart for 8 years.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a member of Kaler Ave. Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
