Donald E. Zimmerman

Biography:  Donald E. Zimmerman, 88 of Satellite Beach, FL passed away on December 6, 2018 in Florida.  Donald was born March 19, 1930 in Bucyrus to the late Alfred C. and Lillian R. (Yaussy) Zimmerman.  He was also preceded in death by his first wife Shirley (Kerr)  Zimmerman; and sons Michael and Jeffrey Zimmerman.


Donald is survived by wife Regina (Ferrer) Zimmerman and daughter Kathleen Zimmerman Green.


Donald graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1948 and received his Bachelors Degree from O.S.U.  He served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force and continued his career as a Govt. Contract Administrator in the Aerospace Industry.  When Don lived in Bucyrus he was known for his softball pitching and he enjoyed playing the piano throughout his life.


A Graveside Service will be held on Monday December 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Mike Corwin  officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 181.
