Donald L. Ditmars

Donald L. Ditmars, 61 of Bucyrus died as a result of an accidental drowning in Wyandot County on Sunday July 16, 2023. Donald was born January 2, 1962 in Willard to the late Basil Earnest and Margaret (Gullett) Ditmars who survives.

In addition to his mother, Donald is survived by daughters Tabitha, Kendra, and Megan; son Tommy; and brothers Jon, Gregory, and Jeffrey. He was also survived by girlfriend Patty. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Steven.

Donald retired from General Motors after 30 years and worked numerous jobs following retirement. He graduated from Crestline High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Donald enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Freddie Rowe officiating and burial to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
