Donald D. Raifsnider

Biography: Donald D. Raifsnider, 71 of Westerville and formerly of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday November 14, 2019 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH.  Donald was born December 20, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Earl Chester Raifsnider and Bonnie Lou (Perry) Raifsnider.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Russell Raifsnider and longtime companion Sharon Hinkle.
Donald is survived by children Jesse Raifsnider of Bucyrus; Tina Hyer of Bucyrus; Jennifer Hill of Westerville; and Lisa (Christopher) Lookenott of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren Michael (Contessa) Hyer, Jesse Baird, Shaina Hyer, Brandon Hyer, Dylan Raifsnider, Chelsea Civay, Dakota Raifsnider, Bryce Hill, Maddison Hill, and Lily Lookenott; 6 great grandchildren; sister Sandra (Mike) Tompkins of Crestline; and Sister in law Paulette Raifsnider of Bucyrus.
Donald graduated from Bucyrus High School and attended Franklin University.  He was a sales Representative for many years and  most recently worked as a security guard.  He lived in the Columbus and Bucyrus areas his entire life.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, 215 N. Walnut St., Bucyrus on Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the American Lung Association.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
