Dixie R. Dillon

Biography:  Dixie R. Dillon, 80, of Bucyrus passed away peacefully Saturday evening in the Carlisle Place, in Bucyrus, Ohio.  She was born February 15, 1935 in Bluefield West Virginia to the late James Frank and Violet M. (Aliff) Neal.  On January 4, 1956, she married Kelly Dillon Sr. who survives. 
Also surviving are her children, Kelly (Joyce) Dillon Jr. of Delaware, Ohio and Leigh Ann Dillon of Bucyrus; her grandchildren, Kade (Liz Adams) Dillon, Clint (Brittany) Dillon, Chad (Shelly) Schwemley, Troy (Gwen) Schwemley, and Tori (Brad) Smith; Her brother, Frank “Sonny” Neal of Mansfield, Ohio, Her sister, Freda Evans of Florida.  She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dillon, and her sister, Barbara Hylton.
 Dixie was member of Wayside Chapel where she taught Sunday school and Awana.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the funeral home.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Compton officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
