Debra Kay "BB" Gilliland

Debra Kay “BB” Gilliland, 65 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at home following an extended illness. BB was born October 19, 1959 in Bucyrus to the late Oliver Skidmore and Edith (Kimberlin) Honaker. She was married to Kenneth “Taz” Gilliland who preceded her in death on April 30, 2013. BB was also preceded in death by daughter Shari Lynn Beeman.

BB is survived by brothers Eddie Ray (Valarie) Skidmore and Teddy W. Skidmore as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her pet cats “Zat” and “Angel”

A lifelong Bucyrus resident, BB was a lifetime member of the Bucyrus VFW Post 1078 where she had worked as a part time bookkeeper. She loved music and worked with her husband in the D.J. business for several years.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Sunday February 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the VFW 1078 Annex with dinner to follow. Life Celebrant Jessie Furner will conduct services.
