Deborah L Zornes

Deborah L. Zornes, age 71, passed away October 14, 2022 at Columbus Hospital. Deb was born to the late William Batton and Donna (Oborn) McKnight April 12, 1951 in Bucyrus Ohio. Deb is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Kenneth Zornes; son, Brandon Cross; sisters, Peggy Brown, Nancy Herschler, and Becky Bonin.

Deborah is survived by sons, Benjamin Cross and Brent (Dawn) Cross; grandchildren, Trenton Stover, Tanna Cross, Jaden Cross, Benjamin Stover, and Jessica Cross; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Deborah was a graduate of Bucyrus High School class of 1969. She worked for many years at UBrand of Upper, after leaving there she retired from Crawford County Family Services. Deb was a member of the Bucyrus Elks, Moose, and Amvets. She enjoyed playing darts, cards, and was an avid reader. Deb loved spending time with her family and nights out by the bonfire visiting with friends and family for hours.

There will be visiting hours at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Thursday October 20, from 4PM-6PM. There will be a service following visiting hours at 6PM. Memorials may be made to the Bucyrus Amvets. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
