Biography: Deborah A. Skaggs, 64 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday Nov. 10, 2015 at Signature Health Care of Galion. Deborah was born July 17, 1951 in Bucyrus to the late Donald and Mary (Garner) Widman.
Deborah is survived by daughter Dawn (Casey) Pollock, Bucyrus; grandchildren Selena, Summer, Sarah, Joe, and Jaret; brother David Widman, Delaware, OH; sister Laurie (Mark) Behm, Bloomville; uncle Donald Garner of CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Deborah lived her entire life in the community and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1969. She last worked as a nursing assistant at Fairview Manor in Bucyrus. Deborah was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Amvets Post #27 ladies Aux., Women of the Moose 741, VFW Post #1078 Ladies Aux. She was past president of the Bucyrus Women’s bowling association and was a past winner of the Ladies Invitational.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Jill Waite officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 pm. The family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s or Debbie’s Footsteps through the funeral home.
