Deanna Jo "Wurm" Hayes

Deanna Jo “Wurm” Hayes, 54 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday April 22, 2024 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Deanna was born July 17, 1969 in San Bernadino, CA to the late John D Wurm and Debbie (Means) Wurm who survives in Bucyrus.

She is also survived by husband John Hayes Sr., daughter D’Lainie Tate of Las Vegas, grandchildren Daina, Joseph, Jason, and Lucille Tate, step daughter Angel Lawhun of Galion and step son John Hayes Jr. of Kentucky; several step grandchildren, brother Jason Wurm of Las Vegas and nephew Andrew, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  In addition to Deanna’s father, she was preceded in death by son Clay Stewart.

Deanna moved to Bucyrus 20 years ago and worked at Bucyrus Community Hospital and Walmart.  She was the author of the book “Hidden Souls” and had planned to write another book.   Deanna loved her grandkids and also enjoyed online games and traveling.
