Dawn Beverly Graves, 72 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday January 15, 2023 at Galion Hospital following a brief illness. Dawn was born November 3, 1950 in Bucyrus to the late Hatten "Cappy" Graves and Rosella (Schnabel) Graves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Dolly Pollock and Kay Cornell as well as brother Billy Perdue.
Dawn is survived by nieces and nephews Peggy Rule, Brenda Pressley, Tonya Clingman, Divena Smith, Todd Clingman, Shad Pollock, Jeran Pollock, and Ryan Clingman; brother in law Alan Pollock, sister Edna Adams, special friend Gary Brooks; 18 great nieces and nephews, as well as 7 great great nieces and nephews.
Dawn graduated from Wynford High School in 1968 and moved to Buck Creek Indiana soon after graduating. Following the death of her sister Dolly 10 years ago, Dawn moved back to Bucyrus and has lived with her brother in law Alan. Dawn was a member of the American Legion and Moose and enjoyed playing euchre at the Elks, Legion, and Moose. She also enjoyed collecting Teddy Bears and loved making fairy gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Oceola Cemetery. The family will meet for a time of fellowship at Baker's Pizza following the graveside from 12:00 until 3:00 pm Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society and Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
