David Allen Parker

Biography: David Allen Parker, 65 of Galion passed away on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Galion Avita following a brief illness.  David was born September 15, 1956 in Bucyrus to Elden and Sarah "Sally" (Quaintance) Parker who survive in Bucyrus.  He was married December 18, 1976 to Sheila (Sparks) Parker who survives. 
David is also survived by sons James (Catrina) Parker of Bucyrus and J.D. (Ashley) Parker of Galion; grandchildren Javan, Blake, Eli, Alexis, Makinzie, Lincoln, Colton, Finley, and Paxton; brothers Richard (Dolores) Parker of Chatfield and Jeff (Amy) Parker of Bloomville; sister Deb (Marty) Markley of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 
David lived his entire life in this area and graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1975.  He retired from the Timken Company in 2018 after working over 30 years.  David enjoyed touring on his motorcycle throughout the country, bowling, had formerly done drag racing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.  David mostly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family. 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Pennington officiating, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. and from 9:00 am Saturday until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to the Galion Grace Brethren Church through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
