Darrell Lee Lewis

Biography:  Darrell Lee Lewis, age 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Wednesday February 15. Darrell was born to the late Bliss and Della (Hicks) Lewis December 17, 1943 in Garrison Kentucky. Darrell is preceded in death by parents, stepson Samuel Koch II, sisters, Wilda Lawhun and Joanne Mayes, brothers, Earl Lewis and Eugene Lewis.
 

Darrell is survived by wife of 25 years Carolyn (Beach) Lewis; son, David (Suzanne) Lewis; daughter, Lisa (David) Plfeiderer; brother, John (Trudy) Lewis; step-children, Kerrie (Joseph) Sheaffer, Nina (Kevin) Assenheimer, Stephen (Jenna) Koch; grandchildren Jarrod Pfeiffer, Jayson Pfeiffer, Jenna Pfeiffer, Jacob Lewis, Bethanie Sheaffer, Kasie Sheaffer, Kylie Grove, Danny Koch, Savannah Koch, Brooke Koch, Sam Koch III, Madelyn Assenheimer, and Nate Assenheimer, 8 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Darrell is a member with the Bucyrus Nazarene Church. Darrell worked with PPG for a number of years operating forklifts and with the offices of Chromalloy Shunk. In his spare time he worked mechanically on cars and enjoyed sewing. He loved spending time with family when he got the chance.

The family will be receiving friends Saturday February 18 from 1-3 PM with a service at 3 PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date, determined by the family.
