Darrell L. Horner

Darrell L. Horner, 65 of Bucyrus and formerly of Ironton, OH went to be with the Lord on Monday February 5, 2024 at home.  Darrell was born September 7, 1958 in Ironton, OH to the late Clarence and Julia (Aquaya) Horner.  He was also preceded in death by sister Barb Jean Botkins.

Darrell is survived by wife Carol (Colegrove) Jarrell Horner; sons Steve(McKinzie) Horner and Barry Horner; step son; Jim (Kelly) Dolin; grandson Brandon; great grandchildren Bently, Denalieigh, and Sophia; brothers Dale “Scott” (Jeanie) and Dan (Kim); and sister Ruth (Ken) Virgin as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Darrell worked as a printer in Ironton before moving to Bucyrus and last worked at Walmart.  He was a member of Bucyrus Freewill Baptist Church.  Darrell loved his family and the church.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 noon in the Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Lyle Arnett officiating and burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to the Bucyrus Freewill Baptist Church or the Gentiva Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
