Darlene Sue Throckmorton

Biography:  Darlene Sue Throckmorton, 70 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday March 9th, 2018 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Sue was born October 15th, 1947 in Greenup County, Kentucky to the late George and Irene (Hall) Byrne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Jennifer Reidling and brother Robert Byrne.
Sue is survived by son Phillip of Bucyrus; daughter Becky Branum of Bucyrus; grandchildren Ryan, Shaely, Alivia, Eric, Jacob, Lydia, and Kendra; great grandchild Ziriah; brothers Allan, Tim, Bill, and Steve Byrne; sister Jeanne Watson; sister in law Jackie Byrne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue graduated from River Valley High School and received her Associate's degree from Marion Technical College. She lived most of her life in Bucyrus and made her home a welcome place. Sue was a very beautiful and loving person who enjoyed gardening, teaching, playing games, and spending time with her family. Sue had deep faith in God and was an inspiration to many. She will truly be missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
