Connie Jean Gibson

Biography:  Connie Jean Gibson, 66, of Bucyrus passed away on Monday Oct. 6, 2014 at home.  Connie was born Oct. 4, 1948 in Hernshaw W. Virginia to the late Alex Franklin and Carrie R. (Walls) Messer.  She was married May 29, 1965 to Claude Ivan Gibson who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Dora Ferris, Opal Messer, and Mary Stanley as well as daughter in law Susan Gibson and step father Frank Woodrum.
 
Connie is also survived by children Tom (Donetta) Gibson, Tina Gibson, and Terra (Anthony) Morgan all of Bucyrus; grandchildren Justen (Tasha) Gibson, Schyler Gibson, Dillon Morgan, Mason (Kylie) Morgan, Kapri Morgan all of Bucyrus, James (Brittany) Morgan of Tiffin; great grandchildren Bentley Morgan and Kinsley Gibson, both of Bucyrus; brothers Alex (Roxie) Messer of Bucyrus and Arlie Woodrum; one sister Margaret Minner of TN; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
 
Connie lived most of her life in this area and was a School Bus Driver for Bucyrus City Schools for over 20 years. She was also very active in the church.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Stewart officiating, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  Memorials may be made to the Freedom Fellowship in Caledonia through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy may be left at munzpirnstill.com
