Christy Ann "Crickey" Rapp

Biography: Christy Ann "Crickey" Rapp, 57 of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.  Christy was born June 30, 1964 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Howard McKee and Janet (Madden) Cochran who survives.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by daughter Shonda Green and step father Charles Cochran. 
Christy is also survived by sons Brandon (Chelsea) Green and Tyler (Natasha) Green; grandchildren Jake, Ella, Braelyn, Stetson, and Paisleigh, who called her grandma "Hobie"; her sister April (Chuck) Hollis; nephews Cole (Alina) Hollis and Eli Hollis; step brother Ronald (Pam) Cochran of N.Y.; longtime friend Dan Shaw; her former husband's Brent Green and Christopher Rapp; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. 

Christy graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1982 and Tri-Rivers for her STNA.  She worked several years at General Electric and as an STNA at Altercare, she last worked at Geyers.  Christy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending sporting events for her grandkids and nephews, watching the O.S.U. Buckeyes and NASCAR, and handmade crafts.  She was formerly a member of the Bucyrus ladies of the Moose #669. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rebon officiating and burial to follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Crawford County Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
