Biography: Charles F. Rossman, 79 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday Jan. 5, 2015 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, he had been seriously ill for the past 3 ½ weeks. Charles was born June 9, 1935 in Oceola to the late Fred W. and Orsella (Temple) Rossman. He was married April 11, 1969 to Linda (Kehrer) Rossman who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son William Richard Rossman Sr. and Brother Robert.
Chuck is also survived by sons Steve and Mike (Special friend Glenda Lake) both of Bucyrus and Brian (Starla) of Piqua; grandchildren William Richard Jr. (Kendra), Marion; Eric Lee (Ashley) of Galion; Shauna of Galion; Alex, Philip, and Samuel of Piqua; Julie of Richmond, KY; Leina of Philadelphia, and Christian of Bucyrus; 6 great grandchildren; and one sister Liz Konwinski of Bucyrus.
Chuck retired from Timken in 1980 and what began as a hobby became a full time business for the past 33 yrs, Chuck’s Woodworking. He lived his entire life in Bucyrus and attended Holmes Liberty School. Chuck was a lifetime member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed golfing, winemaking, gardening, and his pets, especially dog “Bella” and cat “Lilly”.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Good Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. David Bliss officiating. The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
