Charles Paul Clady, 76 of Chatfield passed away on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. Charles was born April 22, 1947 in Bucyrus to the late Alfred R. Clady and Dula (Hewitt) Clady Rimmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Luther, and brother-in-law Dave Dible
Charles married Brenda (Dible) Clady on October 14, 1967 and she survives along with children Chuck (Becky) Clady and Jessica Clady both of Chatfield; grandchildren Jakhob and Jordan Clady, grandchildren he raised Zoie, Eva, and Mila Lewis; great granddaughter Journie; sisters Vicki “Tori” (Gorman) Garland of Chatfield and Virginia (Jay) Dennison of Bucyrus; nephews Gorman and Norman Garland, Christopher and Kevin Clady, and Chris Crary; as well as special friends and cousins Allan and Kenneth Clady.
Charles lived most of his life in the Chatfield area and attended Buckeye Central Highschool. He owned and operated Charlie’s Tree Service for 37 years. Charlie has many hobbies that included drag racing for several years, ultra light gliding, milling wood, vacationing in Florida and going on cruises, playing tennis and softball, and doing work on his Bobcat. He was a member of the Eliminator’s Car Club.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 5th at 6:00 pm in the Chatfield Evangelical Pietist Church. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. The family suggests memorials be made to the Chatfield Evangelical Pietist Church and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
