Cassie M. Robinette

Cassie Mae Robinette, 23, formerly of Bucyrus and most recently of Galion passed away due to injuries sustained in a single car accident near Galion.  Cassie was born February 7, 2000 in Marion. She is survived by her father Steve Robinette and step mom Stacy of Kenton, mother Christa Mills and step dad Alvin of Bucyrus, brother Steven (Clara) Robinette of Bucyrus, paternal grandmother Pat Calentine of Bucyrus, paternal step grandmother Donna Harbor of Kenton, fiancé’ Aaron Clapp of Galion, step siblings Jordan (Jordi) Manns of Belle Center, OH, and Kaitlynn (Brad) Petty of Richwood, OH, best friend Braiden Cross-Garverick and godchildren Josiah and Zendaya, uncles Chris (Elcie) Robinette of Bucyrus and  Jon Robinette of Orville, OH, aunts Angie Hancock of Bucyrus and  Angela (Larry) Edison of Kingsport, TN, niece Scarlett Manns and nephew Atlas Manns of Belle Center, step aunts April (Tom) Engle and Chasity Morrison both of Kenton, OH, as well as numerous cousins.  Cassie was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Dave and Barb Hancock and her cat Blackers.

Cassie graduated from Bucyrus High School-Pioneer in 2019 where she studied horticulture and was very gifted as a flower arranger. She had been working at Stone Ridge in Lexington. 

Cassie was a unique young woman who loved her current cat Jeremy and her forever cat “Blackers”. She loved art in all forms, tattoos, pictures, and she was a wonderful artist painting, drawing, and creating projects. Cassie enjoyed musicals, collecting oddities and nick-nacs and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, online shopping. playing bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles, visiting “her babies”, and taking fancy baths.

Cassie thought of others always.  She liked to spoil her friends, family and fiancé with thoughtful gifts.  You couldn’t say you wanted or liked something in front of her unless you really did because she would find a way to get it for you.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday August 11, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Robertson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
