Carol Jean May

Carol Jean May, 86 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday March 12, 2023 at home.  Carol was born January 1, 1937 in Tiffin, OH to the late Charles and Neva (Hill) Ryman.  She was married March 17, 1955 to Albert H. May who preceded her in death on September 20, 1994.  She was also preceded in death by her son William May.

Carol is survived by daughter Pam (Ed) Kovach of Pataskala; grandchildren Joseph May, Amanda Fulford, Kelly Arnold, Angela Rubio, Crystal Zalbtel, and Edward Kovach Jr.; great grandchildren Griffin and Emma Fulford, Cheyenne and Juline Rubio, and Liam Kovach; special friends Mike and Peggy Hassinger; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Carol retired from K-Mart in Bucyrus and worked for a short time at Watts Insurance.  She was a graduate of Tiffin H.S. in 1954.  Carol enjoyed freehand painting, crocheting, cooking, canning, and doing puzzles.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Tanyce Addison officiating and burial to follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to Good Hope Lutheran Church.
