Biography: Carol Ann Wilson Graham, age 77 of Bucyrus went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 5, 2015. She passed away unexpectedly near Millersburg, OH. Carol was born March 26, 1938, the youngest of 7 siblings to the late Luther and Ollie Wilson. She was married June 23, 1956 (59 years) to Wilbur L. Graham who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Lewis, Haskill “Mack”, Gerald, and sister Gladys “Uree”.
Carol is survived by children Kevin (Linda) Graham of Prattville, AL; Kim (Matt) Rudd, Bucyrus; 5 grandchildren, who were the love and joy of her life, Sara A. Wheeler, Columbus; Daniel I. Graham, St. Louis MO; Brendan M (Karen) Graham, St. Louis, MO; Sierra N. Graham of Prattville, AL; and Emily L. Rudd of Bucyrus; brother Don (Norma) Wilson, Bucyrus; and sister Jean (Elvin) Fisher of Pataskala; numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was a longtime realtor, working for several agencies in both Galion and Bucyrus, retiring in 1996. She also worked for the local Montgomery Ward and Sears catalog stores. In her retirement years, she enjoyed the Dutch Country Flea Market where she and Wilbur set up for many years dealing in antiques and collectables. Carol enjoyed going to the flea market and over the years made several close friends, she was known as “Honorary Amish”.
Carol loved all Ohio sports, the Buckeyes, Cavs, Indians, and even the Browns. Many times she hashed out the significant plays the next morning with her family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed being around and talking with her family members and being involved and supporting her grandchildren’s activities as much as possible. Carol attended the Bucyrus Methodist Church.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Garrabrant and Rev. Mike Corwin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Cr. Co. 4-H Endowment Fund, Wynford Athletic Boosters, or Gideon’s.
