Carol Ann Korner

Biography:  Carol Ann Korner, 54, of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday April 4, 2015 at Bucyrus Community Hospital, her death was unexpected.  Carol was born July 26, 1960 in Bucyrus to the late James Korner and Donna (Eickel) Korner who survives in Bucyrus.  She is also survived by brothers James Korner, Robert Korner, and Donald (Cheryl) Korner all of Bucyrus; nieces and nephew Jennifer, Heather, and Andrew; as well as several great nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
 
Carol lived her entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1978.  She also graduated from Marion Technical College and was currently completing her studies at Ohio University.  For over 25 years Carol worked at Marion General Hospital as a registered nurse and currently was working with Aetna in Columbus. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and the ladies of the Moose.  Carol loved her pets as well as traveling.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until  the time of service.  Memorials may be made to the Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
