Biography: Carol A. Watts, 68, of Bucyrus passed away Monday evening in Bucyrus Community Hospital following a brief illness, her death was unexpected. Carol was born on December 20, 1944 in Galion, Ohio. She is survived by her father, Leo Hare of Bucyrus, and preceded in death by her mother, Sally (Stansberry) Hare. She was married to Hubert “Cappy” McWaters, Gary Horsley, and to Jerry Watts who passed away in 2012.
Carol is also survived by her children, Rick McWaters of Bucyrus, Tim McWaters formerly of Bucyrus, and Miles Horsley of Bucyrus; her great grandson, Brayton McWaters. She is preceded by her brother, Bob and her grandson, Toby.
Carol lived her entire life here in the community attending Bucyrus Schools. She was a member of the Ladies of Moose, AMVETS, Elks, and VFW Post 1078. She was a homemaker and loved her dog, “PEPI”
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday at 2 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
