Biography: Carl E. Brady, age 69, passed away September 12, 2018 at Galion Hospital. Carl was born to the late Ralph and Doris (Sauselen) Brady in Bucyrus Ohio, October 19, 1948. Carl is preceded in death by parents and brother Ed Brady.
Carl is survived by wife of 31 years Barbara “Snavely” Brady; daughter, Carla (Jason) Bennett; step-children, Chuck (Sue) Bennett, Renae (Bryan) Barnett, Lisa (Jim) Eggers, Angie (Wallace) Kirkland; brothers, John (Evelyn) Brady, Alwilda (Ralph) Black, Jim Brady, Perry (Lori) Brady, Pat Brady, Mike (Connie) Brady and May Jenkins; as well as 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl has been a resident of Bucyrus his entire life. He worked as a Dye Maker Machinist for HPM and after that as a Machinist Instructor with Tri-Rivers. Carl enlisted with the Marine Corp and served during Vietnam and finished his ranks as a sargent. Carl was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid reader and enjoyed classic horror movies. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and was quite the storyteller of tall tales. Carl rarely missed his Saturday Poker nights, was a member of the VFW post 7201 in Marion, Ohio and a member of the Moose of Bucyrus.
services Tuesday September 18, 2018 at 3pm at Freedom Fellowship Church 8895 Route 309 with military burial immediately following at New Caledonia Cemetary with Chris Stewart officiating.
