Biography:
Bill W. Skidmore, 64, of rural Bucyrus passed away early Saturday afternoon May 31, 2014 at home following a two month illness. Bill was born Nov. 30, 1949 in Harlan, KY to the late Green and Verda (Middleton) Skidmore. He was married Feb. 2, 1970 to Gloria (Carver) Skidmore who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Oliver and sister Della Hensley.
In addition to his wife Gloria, Bill is survived by children Eric of Bucyrus; Scott of Bloomville; Jason of Tiro; Kathie Morton of Tiro; and Jesse of Bloomville; 16 grandchildren; brothers Clarence and Paul; sisters Jean Wright, Vina Quinlan, Mary Chapman, Betty Pargeon, Jerlynn Sharp; as well as nieces and nephews.
Bill had formerly worked at Swan Rubber and Galion Dresser. He lived most of his life in this area and enjoyed spending time with his family.
