Biography: Billjack Chatman, 55, of Bucyrus passed away on Monday at his home. Billjack was born Nov. 29, 1958 in Welch, W. Virg. To the late Billy C. Chatman and Mary (Foley) Chatman who survives. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters Misty (Travis Ratliff) Chatman and Macy (Travis Hill) Chatman both of Bucyrus and their mother Kathleen Delaney of Galion. 3 grandchildren, which he loved dearly Tristin Dyer, Urijah Dyer, and Nyla Hill; brothers Bobby (Connie) Alberty of Crooksville, OH; Tommy (Diane) Alberty of N. Winchester; Louie (Amy) Alberty of N. Robinson; and daughter in law Linda Alberty of Bucyrus. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brother Marlin Alberty.
Billjack lived most of his life in the Bucyrus area and graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1978. Billjack was a welder and fabricator working for Peabody, Transco, and Eagle Crusher. He loved the Michigan Wolverines and rode his bike everywhere he went. Billjack was the friendliest person anyone would ever want to meet. He loved his family and would do anything for anyone. In addition to his immediate family, he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and north end neighbors who loved him.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 12 noon in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Angel officiating, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
