Biography: Bill Barber, 65, of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday May 8, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, his death was unexpected following a stroke two days ago. Bill was born Sept. 18, 1948 in Bucyrus to the late Charles E. and Edith L (Clark) Barber. He was married Oct. 8, 1967 to Sandra (Groves) Barber who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Lester and Ralph, and sisters, Judy, Maxine, and Robin.
Bill is also survived by sons; Todd (Megan) Barber of Milan; Brian (Laura) Barber of Mansfield; grandchildren, Cody, Nathan, Ashley, Andrea, Micheal, Emily, and Madalynn; great grandchildren Izayah, Tyson, and Aubree; brothers Charles Barber of Galion and James (Kay) Barber of Bucyrus; sisters Anna (Merle) Goodman, Sycamore and Sandra (Roger) Beach of Crestline.
Bill lived his entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from B.H.S. in 1966. He has been retired for the past 10 years and last worked at BAJA Boats.
