Betty Marie (Kurtzman) Taylor

Betty Marie (Kurtzman) Taylor, 85 of Bucyrus passed away peacefully at Millcreek Nursing Home in Galion on Saturday February 15, 2025. Betty was born January 9, 1940 in Crestline, OH to the late Earl Henry Kurtzman and Mary Louise (Koysh) Shoenfelt. She was also preceded in death by husband Delmar Lee Taylor, sister Donna (Kurtzman) Correll-Smith, and special friend of 25 years James Schiffer Sr..

Betty is survived by daughters Tammy (Karl) King of Idaho and Trudy (Terry) Boswell of Bucyrus; 3 granddaughters Kelly King, Misty Lucius, and Kathy (Erik) Davis; 5 great grandchildren Brock, Rhiley, Alexa, Rorik, and Conner; and sister Jane (Kurtzman) Pitts of TN.

Betty was a graduate of Galion H.S. in 1958 and had worked at North Electric for 10 years. She retired from PECO II in Galion. Betty was a member of the Galion Moose and the Bucyrus AMVETS. She enjoyed time with her family, playing cards, fishing, her cats, and dancing.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at Crawford County Memory Gardens. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com and memorials may be made to the Richland or Wyandot County Humane Societies.
