Bessie K Vinson

Biography: Bessie K. Vinson, 77, of Bucyrus passed away at 6:00 am Thursday April 11, 2013 at home.  Bessie was born May 1, 1935 in York, KY to the late Russell and Gladys (Burton) Harper Hughes.  She was married Sept. 6, 1969 to Edward Vinson who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bill Harper and her sisters Juanita Sloan, Helen Coleman, Dorothy Brown, and Ruth Bond.
 
Bessie is also survived by children Debra White and Terry Carmichael both of Bucyrus; grandchildren Anna (Mike) White-Berry of Littleton, CO; Stevi (Chris) White- Honaker of Washington D.C.; Terrance Carmichael of Bucyrus; Everett and Marcus Carmichael both of Bucyrus; great grandchildren Ashley and Robbie Berry; brother Bob Harper of Bucyrus; sisters Bonnie Christian of Detroit, MI; Ida Eulett of Anna, OH; Keneda Parker of  Anna, OH; and Wilma (Joe) Hamilton of  Springfield, OH; Sister in law Wanda (Tom) Riley of Lexington, OH; and Sister in law Sharon Vinson of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Bessie retired from Swan Hose in 1998 after 30 years.  She was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Bucyrus.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hager and Rev. Paul Dalrymple officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm.
