Beatrice Coffman

Biography:  Beatrice Coffman, 97 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday Dec. 13, 2014 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Beatrice was born June 21, 1917 in Chatfield, OH to the late Gurdon and Erna (Telthorster) Korb.  She was married April 19, 1937 to Clyde Coffman who preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1992. 
 
Beatrice is survived by son Daryl (Susan) Coffman of Bucyrus; daughter Barbara (Arthur) Shay of Lewisville, TX; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister Barbara Clady of Bucyrus; and sister in law Leona Linn of Bucyrus.
 
Bea was a homemaker and lived in the Brokensword area before moving to Bucyrus in 1995.  She attended Chatfield School and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1935.  Beatrice was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and the Good Morning (Lydia) Circle of the Church.  She also served as a mentor to many youth at Good Hope over the years.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the Good Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. David Bliss officiating, burial will follow in Nazareth Lutheran Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.  Memorials may be made to the Good Hope Lutheran Church Radio Fund or the Donor’s choice.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
