Biography: Barbara Jean Woodall, 90 of Bucyrus passed away Monday May 2, 2022 at Altercare of Bucyrus. Barbara was born May 15, 1931 in Robertson, County, TN to the late David L. and Ruby (Shoulders) Black. She was married October 9, 1948 to Luther W. Woodall who preceded her in death on August 10, 2015. She was also preceded in death by son Steve, daughter Pamela Ballard, brother Wayne Black and sister Flossie Hilton.
Barbara is survived by daughters Debra (Gary) Broach of Mansfield and Kim (John) Stoneham of Crestline; grandchildren Ian Bauer, Crestline, Travis Broach, Huntsville, Alabama, Monica Broach, Zanesville, OH, Gina Woodall, Mansfield, Shamara (Ryan) Keith, Edmond, OK, James (Rachel) Long, Westerville, OH and Adam (Carmen) Long of Maine; great grandchildren Rhiley, Pheneaus, Rowan, Sierra, Rebekah, Samuel, Sophia, Harper, and Sadie; great great grandchild Tod; nephew David Hilton and his daughter Barbara Rebecca Angove of Virginia as well as additional nieces and nephews.
Barbara moved to Bucyrus in 1948 and was a homemaker. She was formerly a member of the Eastern Star in Upper Sandusky and was a CONTACT Volunteer for 35 years. She was a member of New Hope Community Church in Bucyrus.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Young officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Eastern Star Services will be held on Thursday evening at 5:15 pm and memorials may be made to the New Hope Community Church.
