Barbara Ann Downard

Barbara Ann Downard, 80 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday April 23, 2023 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Barbara was born September 3, 1942 in Jewell Ridge, Virginia to the late Harry A. and Ruth (Fields) Mustard.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons James Parker and Jack L. Parker as well as two sisters Mary Jane Moore and Peggy Smith.

Barbara is survived by grandchildren Amanda and Justin Beecham; great grandchildren Naomi, Trenton, Conner, Lyndsay, Trever, Eleanor, Evelyn, and Jazzlyn; great great grandchild Alaiyah; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend for 70 years Sally Wirebaugh.

Barbara graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1959 and worked at the Former Brown Derby, the Court Café, which she ultimately bought, the Bucyrus Elks, and as a Bus Aide for OSS.  She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, the Bucyrus Elks Lodge, and Bucyrus AMVETS.  Barbara enjoyed her flower garden, traveling, playing euchre, her pets, and spending time with family and friends.
